Ohio Bridge Partnership Program

This Design-Build project replaced four bridges on Lime City Road, Dunbridge Road, Lemoyne Road, and Collins Road in Wood County, Ohio using the Ohio Bridge Partnership Program (OBPP).  The OBPP provides Federal funds to counties and municipalities for roadway bridge replacement projects meeting the established eligibility criteria. The structures had the same general requirements as follows:

• The work length would be 300 feet or as determined by the Design-Build Team.
• The entire existing structure would be removed and replaced with a new structure and any necessary wingwalls.
• The approach pavement would be removed and replaced as specified by the Contract documents.

Specific requirements regarding structure width, sidewalk requirements and roadway width were described for each individual structure.

TIS Responsibilities for the Ohio Bridge Partnership Program

True Inspection Services (TIS) provided inspection of structures, asphalt concrete placement, concrete placement, earthwork, and materials testing.  Compliance of safety, signing, and pavement markings were also verified.

Mr. Reichenbach provided project inspection of the replacement of the following four bridges: Lime City Road, Dunbridge Road, Lemoyne Road, and Collins Road in Wood County. He performed testing on an as needed basis and monitored the work completed each day and completed daily reports.
