Craig Memorial Bridge – Cleaning & Painting

The Craig Memorial Bridge Cleaning & Painting project consisted of cleaning and painting the bascule span bridge, including its substructural members.

TIS Responsibilities for the Craig Memorial Bridge Cleaning & Painting project.

True Inspection Services (TIS) performed the following CMI services on this project:

• Paint bascule spans
• Perform miscellaneous structural steel repairs to the support towers, bascule stringers, and tender house roof
• Replace centerlock
• Encase south abutment piles
• Perform necessary related work

Coatings Inspector

Mr. Gieseke performed inspection of abrasive blasting and painting of bridges for compliance of ODOT’s and OSHA’s lead abatement standards. Completed daily reports and photographic documentation with pay quantities and quality/quantity of completed work items.
