Clopay Building Products, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of residential and commercial garage doors, expanded its manufacturing facility in Troy, Ohio.

The project included improvements to its existing one million square foot building on 85 acres of land, new manufacturing equipment and a six-building expansion totaling about 250,000 square feet of warehouse, docks and manufacturing spaces.

TIS Services for the Clopay Building Products expansion

True Inspection Services (TIS) reviewed all building and scope documents while managing the project to ensure all requirements of the specifications, schedule, and budget were met. In addition, TIS managed the change order process with guidance to the owner and suggested approval of proper invoices. Further, TIS also inspected each work area to monitor safety, work quality, work progress and to help resolve any issues.

Mr. Vaccariello was site project manager for the Clopay Building Products expansion. Accordingly, he reviewed all building and scope documents. In addition, he managed the project to ensure the requirements of the specifications, schedule, and budget were all met. He also managed the change order process with guidance to the owner and suggested approval of appropriate invoices. Further, he also inspected each work area to monitor safety, quality, and progress while helping resolve potential issues. Daily progress reports and pictures were taken and filed onsite.
